Bathtime Battles

There were 2 washing teams: team Baby Bath and team Big Boy Shower.  I captained Team Baby Bath; Eric captained team Big Boy Shower

Baby Bath: Master tub in the master bathroom.  Filling the tub, undressing the babies, all is well.  Point 1 for Baby Bath.

Big Boy Shower: Shower in the boys’ bathroom.  Shower curtain left open, water spraying everywhere.  No points for Big Boy Shower.

Baby Bath:  Splashing, laughing, playing, having fun in the tub.  Point 2 for Baby Bath.

Big Boy Shower:  Screaming coming from bathroom.  Adrian dropped a toy ship on Stephen’s toe, making him bleed and scream.  Big Boy Shower 0.

Baby Bath:  Time to wash up!  Go get shampoo, come back to find….babies sitting in a tub of poop.  And Will, about to put a nice, soggy piece in his mouth.  Naked, wet babies scream when (inexplicably) yanked out of tub.  Will especially screaming because he was enjoying poop fishing.  Baby Bath loses 2 points.

Big Boy Shower:  Screaming finally ceases.  Big boys soaping up successfully.  1 point for Big Boy Shower

Baby Bath:  Will poops and pees on the floor while Team Captain drains and cleans the tub.  -1 points for Baby Bath

Big Boy Shower:  Cleaning completed, big boys now dressing and brushing teeth.  1 point for Big Boy Shower

Baby Bath:  After failing to convince Daddy to switch teams, babies are back in the tub for round 2 of washing.  1 point for Baby Bath

Finally, 4 boys washed, dried, dressed, and asleep in bed.  Team Captains are on the couch watching TV and eating dessert…10 points for Team Parents!  We win!
